Things We Would Like You to Know

Important Information

Deposit & Payments

  • Deposit
    • There is a 30% non refundable deposit required to secure your wedding date
    • Payments are made by bank transfer or cash only
    • A receipt will be provided for all payments
  • Final Payment
    • Final payment is required 30 days before the date of the wedding or event

Other Fees

  • Booking Cancellation
    • 1 month or less before date (the fee is the deposit)
    • More than 1 month from the date ($200)
  • Change of Marriage Date after Booking ($200)
  • Additional Wedding Ceremony Guests
    • There is a maximum of 20 wedding guests planned for as part of the package
    • Up to 60 guests ($120)

On Your Day

  • Weather Conditions
    • In the event of bad weather, we will plan to relocate to an undercover area on the premises. This may be indoors, or in an undercover area outside.
    • Weather conditions are outside of our control, and we will do our best to make your wedding work on the day and setup inside or in the alternative undercover area near the original location
    • There are no refunds if there is bad weather on the day. We will setup indoors or if there is an undercover area in the outdoor location, we will use the items there to create your wedding ceremony

 

  • Late Arrivals
    • Please ensure that both parties to be married arrive no later than 10 minutes after your scheduled start date to ensure everything runs on schedule. We are on a strict schedule and the permits we purchase are for specific blocks of time.
    • In the event that one of the parties are running late, we will endeavor to perform your ceremony, however if that means that if the sequence of events pushes into the planned photo shoot time, the photo shoot time will be shortened in duration to ensure that the 1.5 hour planned ceremony finishes in time

Other

  • Location Permits
    • My Easy Weddings is responsible for getting permits for the wedding locations. This means we are bound by any rules and regulations while our team are on the premises, while your family and guests are on the premises, and for the duration of your ceremony. We ask that you respect the grounds and surrounding areas
    • We love confetti too, unfortunately due to council regulations, they have strict policies on such matters and confetti or any other material that will result in cleanup must not be used

  • Keeping it Clean and Functional
    • While general use of equipment may result in minor soiling, any soiling that is considered to be unreasonable and any equipment broken must be paid for by the client. This equipment is planned to be used in a future wedding, and on occasion directly after you, so we would like to keep the cleaning to a minimal and reasonable effort.
